John O'Hara as Journalist

When he moved to Pittsburgh, O'Hara had thoughts of suicide. Maybe that's what happens when you move to Pittsburgh. He also had thoughts of journalistic grandeur and became the editor of  the Bulletin Index. Jay Felden, the new editor of Town & Country, reports in this month's issue that it was there that T&G's former editor, the legendary Frank Zachary, met O'Hara. Both of them were starting out.
