A Connecticut native recently returned to New England after more than a decade living in the west. Originally a magazine photographer specializing in sports coverage, now working for a national news aggregator and historical archive with duties involving data analysis and quality assurance. Serious reader motivated by a love of good writing and continued learning. Currently delving into fiction from the 1920s to 1970s which has centered on writers such as W. Somerset Maugham and more recently John O'Hara. Deep into O'Hara's stories/novels and also interested in learning about the author to better understand his work and the motivation behind his words. Living in southern Vermont and while formerly a passionate traveler now more interested in the simple small town unhurried life with plenty of time allocated for reading and learning.
