Pottsville:
The Actors Guild of Schuykill County will present four dramatised short stories of John O'Hara Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, at the Pottsville Club as part of the city's celebration of its bicentennial.

The featured stories, all Pottsville/Gibbsville-based, are 'The Hardware Man,' 'Afternoon Waltz,' 'The House on the Corner,' and 'The Victim.' Showtime, both days, is 6:30 pm.

A $40 charge includes a dinner.

The O'Hara weekend will also feature a lecture and book signing by Professor Matthew J. Bruccoli, of the English Department of the University of South Carolina, an eminent biographer of O'Hara. The lecture will follow a brunch, at $15 per person, to be held at 11:30 am April 22, also at the Pottsville Club, 201 South 26th Street.
